States Extend Unemployment Benefits

Although the federal government has yet to extend the unemployment date, states are starting to take the lead.

Individual states are acting to extend unemployment benefits as Congress debates whether or not to extend the extra $600 weekly unemployment benefits. States are taking the lead because of the concerns about the lack of action by the federal government.

Although not all states are partaking in this action, this is still important news that we must stay aware with. For further information regarding states and unemployment benefits, visit the article "Coronavirus stimulus: States extend unemployment benefits".
